Rickmers-Linie and Swire Shipping form strategic partnership in India and Middle East allowing Rickmers a service to the South Pacific

  • Connecting more than 12 ports.
  • Monthly multipurpose service with lifting capacity of up to 120 metric tons

 

Rickmers-Linie Swire and Shipping have announced on June 8th, launch of a connecting carrier partnership from India and the Middle East towards the South Pacific.

The objective of the collaboration is to enhance network coverage by providing a regular breakbulk service out of India and the Middle East towards Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific ports, via Singapore.

 

The first voyage was scheduled to depart Mumbai on 9 June 2015. The first voyage from Jebel Ali being on 28 June 2015. The load ports are Jebel Ali, Mumbai, Chennai, Dammam, Kolkata. The destination ports, via Singapore, are Papua New Guinea, Solomons, New Caledonia, Fiji, Australian East Coast, Darwin, East Timor and New Zealand.
